They can cause reparatory issues, odors, cancer risks, and other health issues. Other waste management companies use land fields that leach their contents, and through the decomposition of the waste, release even larger amounts of greenhouse gasses over time. Landfills are the third largest anthropogenic source of methane, accounting for approximately 11% of estimated global methane emissions. AEI’s process does neither, by utilizing the most advanced thermal destruction process available today.
